The clouds, the rain and the slush. What a beautiful weather. Maybe to sit at home and eat pakodas with chai, not to head out to Kolavara Heritage Homestay. Who am I kidding, it was a fun ride to a wet Kolavara Heritage, nestled at the base of the Western Ghats in a rainy Thirthahalli Taluk in Shimoga District. 3 day weekends are rare and having a Goan Thruxton ride is rarer. This Triumph Thruxton was with me for a while and I had not really taken it out. Just one trip when I went out to donate blood. So, for the Republic Day weekend in 2015, Kavitha and I decided to head out.
Thanks to Prashanth for letting us use this beautiful motorcycle for this ride.
Got a opportunity away from work to put in a small ride a couple of weekend’s ago. It was cool with December coming up soon. The bike ran well and I gave it a few rest stops on the 4 – lane highway and away from it. Here are some pictures and the story.
We will be riding to Goa in October 2014 for RTMC 13A! This is Rolling Thunder Motorcycle Club‘s 13th Anniversary. For how long we will stay in Goa is yet to be seen, but 11-12 Oct 2014 is for sure at the moment.
Woke up early on the third day at the Wild Valley Farm and from yesterday’s experience, I knew Snoopy would be around in one of the tents. What better companion than Snoopy, since we all need a small, vicious dog to protect us in the wild. Since I still had sometime for the sunrise, I walked around a bit. I went to the edge of the property to see if I could figure out what the sound from last night was. But, no luck. Snoopy, had gone back to sleep, probably a more intelligent decision. (Read Day 1 and Day 2 before this, if you missed it.)
